1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the MeridiesAI platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to independent counselors, counseling practices, and any authorized users of an account.
2. The Service
MeridiesAI provides workflow and decision-support software for independent college counselors, including student workspaces, application tracking, institutional intelligence, and related tools. MeridiesAI is a facilitation tool for counselors — it does not replace counselor judgment and does not guarantee any admissions outcome.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Student and Family Data
Counselors are responsible for having appropriate authorization to input student and family information into the Service. MeridiesAI processes this data solely to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
MeridiesAI is offered through custom plans arranged directly with our team. Pricing and billing terms — including annual or monthly billing and seat counts for practices and associations — are set out in the order or agreement you enter into with us, rather than through self-serve checkout.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access data you are not authorized to view, reverse-engineering the platform, or using the Service in a way that violates applicable education, privacy, or consumer-protection law.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. MeridiesAI does not guarantee admissions decisions, institutional responses, or any particular outcome from use of the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeridiesAI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active account holders. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
